Every invoice goes through a mandatory arithmetic check: if bases, VAT and withholding don't match the total, it is flagged and never reaches your books until you review it with the PDF alongside.

No: Verifactu concerns the invoices you issue; this service handles the ones you receive from suppliers, which are outside that regulation. Two different pieces of the same circuit.
