In hospitality, Spain's Verifactu is not about invoicing modules: it is about the POS you charge with. Every receipt is a simplified invoice and must go out signed and recorded. The right fix is a POS that already complies: GLOP has Verifactu built in — and we provide the rest: license, installation, your menu loaded, on-site training and support for the years after. A natural fit for foreign-owned bars and restaurants on the Costa Blanca — we work in English and Spanish.
Spain's invoicing-software regulation (the «Verifactu», RD 1007/2023) requires the software you issue with — and in a bar that software is the POS — to sign every receipt, chain it to the previous one and keep an unalterable record, with its QR code. The firm dates: 1 January 2027 for companies and 1 July 2027 for the self-employed (most bars). The chartered territories (TicketBAI) and the SII are out of scope. Unsure about your case? Answer it in one minute with the calculator or read the full guide. A calendar tip: in the last quarter of 2026 the whole sector will be replacing POS systems at once — those who do it calmly this autumn will choose better and pay the same.
Three situations cover nearly all of hospitality. All three have a way out — and none of it involves paperwork.
An old cash register, a POS the maker no longer updates, or handwritten tickets. Switching to GLOP solves Verifactu and, along the way, sorts out cash control, stock and reporting.
GLOP has Verifactu built in; what is needed is your installation being up to date and correctly configured. We review it, update it and hand it back verified — with a paper that says «this venue complies».
The POS complies in the venue with GLOP, and if your website issues invoices on its own, that side is covered by FactuSign (PrestaShop and WooCommerce). Two fronts, one provider.
Fast touch checkout for bar, tables and terrace — with tax compliance built into the POS itself, the software's conformity backed by the maker's declaration.
In VERI*FACTU mode: every receipt goes out signed, chained and submitted to the tax agency in real time, with its QR. Not an add-on: part of the POS — and the real-time mode is the one that spares you custody and proof duties.
Orders, tickets and payments in seconds, rush hour included. Floor, tables and terrace if you need them.
Clear closings, cash-ups per shift and control of who charged what. The till mismatch stops being an argument.
Every sale updates stock, with restocking alerts. You know what is running out before it does.
What sells, at what times, at what margin. POS data turned into purchasing and menu decisions.
Touch screen, receipt printer, drawer — we supply and install it, or set GLOP up on your current equipment if compatible.
A POS is not a months-long project. Well prepared, your venue complies in a few days.
At your venue or by video call: how you charge today, how many terminals, what equipment you have.
Licenses, terminals and — if needed — the physical equipment. Closed price, no surprises.
We load products, categories, price lists and VAT rates from your current lists. You type nothing.
With your real menu and your real team. Short sessions, designed for rotating staff — in English if needed.
We launch on a normal trading day and stay: updates and support, also when something happens on a Saturday.
And what goes hand in hand with the POS in hospitality: your team's mandatory time tracking (split shifts, rotating staff) is solved by FicharConMóvil from each employee's phone, no hardware. Ask us also about possible government grants currently available.
Yes. A receipt is a simplified invoice and the software issuing it — your POS — is an invoicing computer system: it must sign, chain and record every receipt per the regulation. That is why in hospitality Verifactu is solved in the POS, not with a separate program.
It depends on whether its maker adapts it and declares it compliant. If your equipment is no longer updated, waiting is risky: we check it for free and tell you whether your current setup has a path or whether switching makes sense.
Yes: GLOP has Verifactu built in and works in VERI*FACTU mode (real-time submission to the tax agency), the mode that spares you custody and proof duties; the software's conformity is backed by the maker's responsible declaration. Our job is making YOUR specific installation updated, configured and verified — owning the program and having it complying are not the same thing.
Companies, from 1 January 2027; the self-employed — most bars — from 1 July 2027. The Basque Country and Navarre run their own system (TicketBAI). Check it in one minute.
It depends on terminals, modules and whether you need physical equipment. The consulting is free and ends in a proposal with a closed price for license, installation, menu loading and training. No surprises, no odd lock-ins.
Yes — and that is where a well-set-up POS shows most: menus and price lists per venue, comparable closings and a single support contact. Tell us how many venues and we prepare a group proposal.
Tell us how you charge today — bar, tables, terrace, how many terminals — and we will tell you what you need to comply, what it costs and when it can be running. No strings attached.
